Dandelions for runway visibility

[psween]

Now, if they would just bloom all summer instead of only for a week, visitors wouldn't have such a hard time finding the runway amongst all the green corn and bean fields. When the clover blooms, it goes white, but even that gets lost in the green unless you know what to look for and where to look for it.

I've been feeding dandelion greens to my pet tortoise Rosie.

Does that make her a cannibal?

Dandelions can also tell you that it's been much too long since your airplane has been flown ...

[RyanB]

Great looking soft field!

[BigBadLou]

Could you plant the white clover seeds on the rwy center line (with proper width and spacing) and the dandelions on the taxiways? Maybe some bluebonnets on the taxiway edges?

[Shepherd]

Just curious: What does your filters and coolers look like after they bloom?
