And the wind is just now picking up around Nashville. They're calling for 35 mph sustained and gusts up to 50. :hairraise:
All y'all be careful out there.

I was thinking for a short period of time of flying today! Addison's runway is 15/33. Didn't take me long to become very comfortable on the ground.

To top things off, we lost power (electric) for over four hours this afternoon; a large part of north Dallas. Still wondering what went wrong and if it was wind related.

Best,

Dave

Going into hibernation mode, here in WI. As if I wasn't already...

30-kt winds and a foot or more of snow on the way. I pity any airplanes left outside.

35G50? That's a calm day here! 101mph clocked just a few miles east of here the other day ...

After I double chained the hangar doors, and moved some planes in the neighbors hangar in preparation for the door to blow down, I had a full day turning wrenches on my bird. Hard to work with the roof moving up & down, sheet metal banging and trying to peel away though. Watched the entire state of NM sail by the hangar, along with a couple thousand tons of tumbleweeds.
