Why would you need to do that? Did you not break the FAA record for substance dependence SI?Is it true I can subvert the expectations of the FAA by getting a pilots license in a foreign country and then transferring it back to the USA?
If your problem is weed-related getting a recurring medical will still be the issue, not conversion of a foreign certificate. Is it true I can subvert the expectations of the FAA by getting a pilots license in a foreign country and then transferring it back to the USA?
So you are saying it's not impossibleAs for subversion, FAFO. You'll get little if any sympathy when it goes poorly for you.
Put down the bong and work on reading comprehension. So you are saying it's not impossible
Knowing that, if you want to fly, you'd have to be dumber than a bag of rocks to smoke weed.FAA doesn't care if you are dumber than a bag of rocks but if you smoked weed they will hunt you down to the ends of the earth
Well...sometimes they kinda do...can you say neurocognitive testing? Why does the FAA not make people take an IQ test? The gentleman who is the subject in the aforementioned video certainly would not have passed. It begs to raise the question, are the FAA competent in doing their job of keeping the skies safe?
Ya gotta pass an oral exam and a practical test with a DPE, plus convince a CFI you're at least slightly better than functionally retarded. That counts for something...Why does the FAA not make people take an IQ test? The gentleman who is the subject in the aforementioned video certainly would not have passed. It begs to raise the question, are the FAA competent in doing their job of keeping the skies safe?
Oh, I'm certain he's familiar with it. The question is whether he passed.Well...sometimes they kinda do...can you say neurocognitive testing?
thank you. I think.Your IQ isn't relevant to whether or not you can safely operate an aircraft. Plenty of useless, high IQ people out there that are proof of that.
The V-tail Bonanza is proof of that.Your IQ isn't relevant to whether or not you can safely operate an aircraft. Plenty of useless, high IQ people out there that are proof of that.

The obvious thing that you are missing is that testing for a high IQ does nothing to determine if someone can fly or not. Testing for IQ doesn’t determine much of anything other than what you scored on the test.Very very strongly disagree.
Thankfully the <82s are often not in a position to even afford flight training.
Now common sense it a different and much harder to put your finger on metric.
I know some PHDs who if put into a third world country, or if modern society collapsed would be dead or enslaved or something unpleasant inside of a week

It’s rather rude to keep talking without reading what others say.Tell me you didn’t watch the video without telling me you didn’t watch the video
If one is under a 83 IQ you don’t want them in a plane, or probably even a car for that matter
Do you guys think you should be required to take an IQ test to vote?
Be careful throwing things like that out there. It seems pretty low IQ to rail against the FAA for an accident with a Canadian registered plane and a Canadian student pilot.Do you guys think you should be required to take an IQ test to vote?
But at least those PhDs have a low IQ.Very very strongly disagree.

IQ is irrelevant. The level of intelligence required is already tested via the training, testing and medical process. If you can get through those successfully, then you're going to pass a reasonable IQ test. Why does the FAA not make people take an IQ test?
Very very strongly disagree.

We did. At least one. Private pilot written. When you take it you'll be asked about the 5 hazardous attitudes of aviation. Id argue youve displayed at least one.I think that everyone's medical should be revoked at once and all pilots/student pilots required to take an IQ test
Is being surprised that habitual marijuana use has consequences a sign of high or low IQ? What about being unable to navigate a system of medical certification that thousands of others have been able to navigate?I think that everyone's medical should be revoked at once and all pilots/student pilots required to take an IQ test
