D.B. Cooper in the news again.

Please don't judge the entire midwest by the flatlands. :vomit:

Yeah, but we get that all the time in the winter, where you only get it occasionally. ;)

those are where i lived, should have added Denver. Also vacationed in the ozarks and spent time in NW Ark. traveled thru most the rest of it. and I am GLAD i don't get sub freezing mornings very often, but I do have a 1000 ft head start. BFI is 21 ft ... it is the cold. snow is a four letter word. I like snow, I keep mine up on the mountain , Where I can see it, not on my lawn.True I nave not been to Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan or N or S Dakota, Montana, only 6 states I have not seen in the lower 48. I will point out they are a fair way north of the places i have lived, and I all of them were far to cold in winter and way to hot in summer. Cry me a river , call me a whiny boy, but I moan & sulk when it is over 80 or under 40. How long do you think that will last in your house? what does it matter , as long as there are Brave souls like you , who are ready and willing to live there for me. I'll hold down the fort out here and You can populate those frozen/ boiling midwest regions. My hat if off to you sir for so gallantly offering yourself as a human sacrifice. :wink2:. Dave

FWIW, I think MN, WI, and MI are the prettiest states in the Midwest - There's at least some trees and hills and lakes and such. The weather is an endless source of free entertainment. I live very close to Lake Michigan, and that tends to keep us ~10 degrees warmer in the winter and ~10 degrees cooler in the summer. It's been sunny with highs within about 2 degrees of 80 every day for the last week.

It would be interesting to find out who he really is and read his story.

Then let him go free and keep the cash if he still has it. $200,000 is petty cash nowadays. You can't even buy a house or airplane for that anymore.

You can buy an LSA for that amount of money.

As for who Dan Cooper is. I've watched this show on the History Channel called "Decoded", and they made a pretty damn good argument of Dan Cooper being a ****ed off TWA employee.

Well, that settles it. If it was on TV it must be true. :wink2:

Didn't the History Channel also run a show about the Da Vinci code, the Knights Templar and the Holy Grail?
