Anyone have any recent PIREPS and/or good recommendations?

I have a place up there and would rather fly up, thinking going into CYUL, but if I could just clear somewhere and land on the water somewhere safe and secure closer that would be cool, my place is near Mount Royal.

Anyone have the lowdown on the area?
 
I always used St Hubert, but I haven't flown into Canada in decades.
In the interest of full disclosure, I always went to the RCAF side. As a cadet in the CAP, we had special privileges there because of our partnership with the Canadian Air Cadets. I had friends there, even after the RCAF closed up shop in 1997(?).

That would be easier but it’s almost another 20 minutes to my place
