CTs to Alaska

OK, after a couple of weeks of down time in Nome and Unalakleet, the CTs are back at it. The electrical problem turned out to be a wire that got skinned up and was shorting out against a lever control. It was blowing fuses and made troubleshooting difficult. The two brothers are back in Anchorage and will be heading South soon. Airventure? 'Won't make it for the start, but you never know...
 
Good to see they are back in the air. Hotels (and food, and just about everything else) can be a little pricey in Nome and Unalakleet this time of year. Hope they didn't have to stay in tent city.
 
Just got word that weax has spoiled their plans for OSH. So they're enjoying AK, maybe heading towards Fairbanks. They have nothing but great things to say about the people in AK... Barrow, Nome, Unalakleet, Anchorage have been great. Expen$ive... very.
 
Sorry to hear ,their not going to make OSH . Made it to Fairbanks and left Alaska early due to weather.
 
'Looks like they've left Anchorage and are heading South down the coast. FAA weather cams show some low clouds down the coast.

Looks like good VFR to me..... good for Alaska standards that is.....
