Cross Country Flight Record early March?

[rockwoodrv9a]

There was a post about a guy flying I think from Ramona, CA across the lower states to maybe Atlanta earlier this money and I cant find it. I followed the flight on flightaware but cant locate it in my history either. Does anyone remember the flight or have info? I remember he had a really nice tailwind! Thanks

Bruce Hammer, N91LH, March 13, did not set a record.

Thanks. That is what I was looking for. It looked like a very quick flight for the plane he flew.

Been done:
My one claim to aviation fame--Arnold was my DPE. Saw him often riding his beater bicycle around the airport--Harvey Field.

I did similar the other way (and a bit further) a few years back.

There’s this one:

Pacific to Atlantic, nonstop

There were no world records, no acclaim except for that of 50 of his friends, just a long-held dream. On April 29 Jonathan Paul flew his 1966 Mooney from San Diego to Savannah, Ga., nonstop in less than 13 hours.
