Crash on Takeoff - Roatan

The crumpled fuselage says an extreme nose down hard impact. Do you ever look at photos and think "How the heck did that happen?"

I would expect an engine failure to produce a relatively successful ditching in that shallow water. Maybe a stall and spin while turning on climbout?

Just have to shake your head and say "Rest in peace", I guess. Tough outcome. :(
 
Five people plus inevitable luggage and dealing with engine failure or stall... pilot had his hands full.
