Many small Book Stores have so many aviation treasures. Where I live and yes write and talk to the fishermen and yes have lots of fun, there is a small treasure here. It is a book store that has lots of Marine or Nautical books, but the best part they have some really nice Aviation book finds as well.

I found a small book that was written by Jim Reardon published by Stackpole Books in 1990. It is about the Akutan Zero captured in Alaska when Japan Attacked Dutch Harbor. What is so nice about this book it is a great story about how the Zero was designed and how through the first captured Zero the US Learned how sophisticated it was at the time. A really good read and has great photos of the plane and the people who in Alaska helped savage it.

A real nice read
