Saw a couple coming into NASNI yesterday.
 
Probably just doing pattern work at Miramar. VMFAT-101 “SHUTR” (your pic) is based there.

Based on the pics I’d even say the carrier break. Probably conducting field carrier landing practice (FCLPs) on 24L.
