Howdy, gentlemen,

I am looking at buying a used car and was wondering whether a nice fellow pilot with an unlimited Carfax subscription would be willing to run a report on a VIN for me.
If you are a nice person and can help, I will owe you a cold one!

I'm a nice person without a Carfax subscription. Can I still have a beer?
 
FWIW Don't put too much faith in the Carfax report. A friend of mine went to trade in his car and when they ran the report, it said the car was totaled in a hurricane. (It wasn't, in fact no damage history at all.)

No argument here. I've seen a few cars that have been in multiple wrecks (and repaired and paid for by the insurance companies) and Carfax was clean. :)
I am just curious about the overall history of the vehicle, its locations etc.
