Cost of a private pilot certificate now??

Actually a study done of a teen advanced car control type training found that they do help teen drivers be safer and saner behind the wheel.

I can't find it now, but BSR did a study following two groups of teen drivers. One group attended the 1 day Accident Avoidance class. They followed them for one year.

The group with the track training had significantly less tickets, especially speeding and a LOT less accidents.
Question is, did they force people who didn’t want the training to take it, or was it all teens who thought it would be cool to have the training?

At some point with any training that is mandated, the primary goal for most will become completing the course, not learning the skills.
