Hi everyone! stumbled across this forum while searching online for some help regarding FAA medical application falsifications.

here's my situation:

In 2007, before i started taking lessons, i was diagnosed with Wolf-Parkinson-White Syndrome, and treated by way of ablation (explained here: http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/wolff-parkinson-white/basics/definition/con-20043508). After the treatment, and a couple follow up EKGs the doctor was satisfied that i was cured, and i've never had any symptoms since. After learning that i was interested in flying, the doctor who performed the procedure advised me not to report this on my medical application. One year later, i completed a class 3 medical exam. Provided the supporting evidence that the condition was/is no longer a problem, and my teenage naivety i did not report this condition on the application for fear of denial. within a year of getting the student pilot/medical certificate i ran out of money and had to stop flying. Because of this, i did not re-apply for another medical certificate for quite some time.

i don't consider myself a dishonest person. at the time the correct thing to do was a little unclear to my young mind, and i didn't fully make myself aware of the consequences that might come down on me as a result of my actions.

As of a few months ago, i've positioned myself financially to pursue my aviation career again. i now another class 3 medical certificate, again omitting the cured WPW syndrome, and am actively taking flying lessons with no medical problems. only now being in an aviation law class, it's come to my attention what i may actually be doing to myself by not reporting this past condition on my last 2 medicals.

how much trouble am i in?

can i fix it?

am i freaking out over nothing since the condition was diagnosed and cured 8 years ago?

Regarding the WPW, i've read many accounts of the FAA issuing certificates to applicants who could prove that they'd been treated sucessfully. I'm willing and able to prove my health if/when it becomes necessary

any help or advice would definitely help me rest more easily. The last thing i intend to lose is the FAA and flying community's trust.
