Hey Guys,
Thanks to all of your good advice on here, I got my 3rd class medical. The only restriction is "must wear corrective lenses" as I wear contacts (or glasses) to see far away. A month later, I got a letter from the FAA with a corrected certificate stating "must wear lenses for distant, glasses for near vision".
I have no idea why they would correct it this way and have never had near vision problems and don't wear readers. Do you guys think this is something I should write them back about and contest, or is it maybe just a change to the standard wording? I wonder if it's worth trying to fix and if this would ever come up as a practical issue.
Thanks in advance!
