Whats good depends more on where it is leaking. Case in point: 60/80 is fine, if the compression is leaking through the cylinder rings. 60/80 caused by a leaking exhaust valve is bad. You've got to listen for where the air is leaking from during the compression check.

I've flown plenty behind cyls with upper-40s and sometimes that's all you're gonna get.

Compressions are only part of the diagnosis. Borescope and see what the innards look like. I can add pictures of burn valves if anyone is interested.
