Maybe this is one of those Mandela effect things but I swear I saw somewhere in the bowls of the internet an FAA page stating that compounded medications such as compounded GLP-1 medications could not be used by airmen?
Am I crazy? if I am not crazy can someone post this link to this information as I can no longer find it anywhere online.
I'd love to get started on a GLP-1 for weight loss but my issuance wont cover so I'm looking at getting it via a local compounding pharmacy and I just don't want to jeopardise my medical for it.
I know the commercially available product is acceptable and I know what it takes to get started on that I am mostly just interested on if the FAA treats the COMPOUNDED versions any differently
