Company files protest over U.S. Army Mi-17 helicopter overhaul contract

I've said that for years, don't be Russian the maintenance on helicopters.
 
Science and Engineering Services has offices and hangars here in Huntsville. I've seen Mi-17s flying a lot lately around my home drome.
 
Why dont we ask the fed to deliver the money they print right to the nearest garbage burner ?

The idea of buying that russian junk was to take advantage of existing piloting and mainteance expertise already in the country rather than establishing everything new to support western helos.

Between the US funded purchases of military hardware and our inability to provide manned spaceflight, the russians are laughing at us all the way to the bank.
