Commercial Written Re-take

I received and logged the ground training required for taking the Commercial Written under 61.125 - - I passed the exam and had a current and authorized instructor certifying statement in my logbook.

Two years has now passed and the exam results are no longer valid. I have the original exam results.

Do I need to obtain a new 'endorsement'? I don't see anything in the FARs specifically addressing this question.

Nope.

A previously passed but expired test is fine.

I was in the same boat with my instrument written. However, the person at the testing center (a CFI) needed a little 'educating' that I didn't need a new sign off. So be on the lookout for that.
