The thread I started for GA "needs" has had some great input so far, and I realized that it might be appropriate to ask the same question with respect to commercial aviation. Commercial aviation would be referring to anything that requires a commercial or ATP license.

As a thought exercise, what are the current "needs" in commercial aviation? What are some shortcomings in need of attention? What about potential luxuries that aren't actual needs, but you would consider to be great to have?

Much is the same as your GA thread, after all that's where CPL/ATP pilots come from

Best thing for working pilots has been the side effects of the ATP rule change, it actually fixed the real problem which was one of respect and QOL.

Hopefully the airline industry won't buy enough senators to get it overturned.

It's finally becoming a good time to be a pilot.
