Come On Mom!

Filled out the medical form properly and to the best of my knowledge. When speaking with my mother about coronavirus over the phone, I happened to mention how lucky I was to not be at risk. She proceeded to tell me not to be to confident, as a doctor had said to her that I might have acute childhood asthma when I was two.

WHAT THE HECK MOM??????

I'm an adult. A pilot in fact. With a medical. I never knew about this till now, many, many years later.

Was I actually diagnosed? I have no clue?????? Neither does she......

Suggestion?

For non-psychiatry & non-heart, If you haven’t had symptoms or meds for 10 yrs....it’s “not a condition”.....

“Might have” does not sound like a diagnosis to me. Your medical records from your family doctor are probably on paper and molding away, if your family doctor is still practicing.

Mine passed away two decades ago and all practice records were burned.

''Bye mom, I am going to go get my pilot medical certificate.''

''Ok, dear, but do you really think they will let you fly an airplane once they find out how you endlessly tease your little sister....''

"Hey mom, your phone is breaking up really bad ... I'm about to lose you. Going flying, call you soon, love you mom!"
