I am looking for 1-2 partners who will fly 50-100 hrs per year.

1966 comanche 260B
Has a half dozen speed mods including eagle xp cowling- 160 kts
New overhauled engine in 2018. 70 hours SMOH.
Garmin 530
Century 2000 autopilot
Interior -8 (new interior 2005)
Exterior- 9 (paint 2005) looks like is was painted in the last few years.
Almost 1200 Useful Load

The plane is in Annual currently and will go directly to the avionics shop for the ADSB upgrade as well as an upgrade from the 530 (non-waas) to IFD540.

I am now highly considering moving the plane to LZU because I am able to get into a hangar immediately. Please reach out if this is of interest!

$200 per month fixed cost plus $85 per hour dry.

Based out of KLZU

I keep seeing partnerships out of PDK and keep wishing I had not moved out of Atlanta!

Does this one have 4 or 6 seats?

Hangar or tie-down? With good looking paint probably hangared.

ADS-B?

Useful load?

Pilot minimum requirements?

And pics could be helpful.

Sounds like an excellent opportunity.

No equity buy-in? So you’re looking for renters, not partners?

Nets $16,450/yr or $329/hr for 50 hours a year, assuming $5/gallon gasoline and 14 GPH.

My math may be wrong but modeling for 50 hours over 12 months looks to be about $10,150 for the year or $203 per hour. Assuming 14 gph @ $5 per gallon.

I'm an engineer. Must have applied safety factors. ;-)

Your numbers are correct.

Working on Pilot minimum requirements with the Insurance company.
I am currently on multiple wait list for hangar opportunities at PDK (If you know of any, let me know!!)

Hi Tommy,
I am definitely interested. I have a hangar at 3J7 that we could use in the meantime. Please give me a call. Thanks, Todd 706-347-1058

I am also interested. Just getting back into flying after taking a break for a few years. Send me an email if you are still looking for people. jameslfox@gmail.com

Thanks,
Jim

Dang I wish this was at SNA. I have a 170 but have always wanted a Comanche. Having previously been in a non-equity partnership with a 172S, the arrangement is fantastic and world's better than renting.

Update: I am now highly considering moving the plane to LZU because I am able to get into a hangar immediately. Please reach out if this is of interest!
