Alton Brown, our favorite epicurean aviator, will be in the Colorado area in early Feb 2014:
Denver Feb 3
Colorado Springs Feb 4
Greeley Feb 5

Groups of 10+ get a discount. Retail prices between $25 and $128 not oncluding service charges, depending on the location. Greeley is cheapest. Someone's got to pay for the 100LL.

Anyone interested? Tickets are on sale now.

What exactly is the ticket for?
Meet and greet ?
Dog and pony show?
Cooking with Alton?

Since I had to google him to figure out who he is...

What's not to,like? Pilot. Expert cook/chef. Whovian.

Works for me.
Well, you haven't seen me try to cook. :D

I was proud of myself today, though, I made spaghetti with real italian sausage! Although I cheated and put the italian sausage in with a jar of spaghetti sauce.

Alton is a fave but I'm sad he moved away from his shows and does the producing of the competition things instead. Total Good Eats fan here.

Not sure I would pay $100 to meet him to fund his flying habit though. Got my own habits to fund. :-)

Very cool that he had his own brand new 206 in one of his shows way back when. Used it to go get seafood from his base of Atlanta supposedly. He supposedly rides around in jets nowadays.

Got books. Got videos. Could watch Good Eats re-runs all day. Love his post-it note interaction on Twitter. But don't care much to pay to meet someone. Just not my thing.

Will they be shutting down the meat packing plant that day for smell control? ;)

(I'm allowed to make fun of Greeley, much of my family is there these days.)
