Well, we missed another opportunity for our Traditional-Freeze-the-nose-fingers-toes-nuts-buns-whythefxxxarewedoingthis-picnic-in-subzero-weather Party.

DIA elevation 5429 MSL. Density Altitude 2933 MSL.

Two days ago (Friday) it was 62. Today? Not sure if it'll even make it to 10.

I worked all day today, though. Is the holiday rush going to be over soon?
 
I got called before getting out of bed both mornings this weekend like every weekend for the last month. Does that count?

Still, I made it a nice day and forgot about the work staffing level BS. Went to the gun club to see the new digs and spent most of the time there attending to a guy with a broken ankle in the parking lot. Frankly that made it a good day. Karma has a way of remembering this stuff.

Also had Hickory House ribs for dinner last night. Mmmmm. Tonight was Carne Asada leftovers, and cookies. :)

Life is good.

But it would be good to see y'all sometime. Is Clark living permanently out of hotels in Wyoming now? I know everyone else I've talked to is busy as hell.
 
I just got back from an AZ/NM RV/Fishing/Photo/"use or lose" vacation on Saturday, so was unavailable again. The last leg from Sante Fe to home was ugly - spent 2 hours stopped between Fountain and CoSprings while they cleaned the contents of an overturned moving van off the freeway, then crept home at 40 mph due to ice and snow.

Like I suspected when I left, half the trip was spent in temps colder than home.
 
I watched your photos with envy.

I trained newbies today. There's hope I won't be on call in a few weeks.

I lost a couple of days in "use it or lose it". Boss and I are going to have a chat about that.
 
No database down time while I was gone, and I didn't even try to connect to the VPN to check on things. :)

Is your new sysadmin still down and out?

Apparently. Today he's "not 100%". Otherwise known as "Friday". LOL.
