Any of you guys have a decent amount of time with this unit?
Is it "normal" for this autopilot to both give you aural and visual warnings for selecting the autopilot on and off?
Off I understand. I've only flown 1 aircraft with the Collins 65. Ours acts like you're disconnecting it - master warnings, etc - when you connect as well as disconnect it.
I've never flown anything that yelled at you for turning ON the autopilot.
Anyone?
