Hi everyone, first-time poster
The VA diagnosed me with Meniere's disease with dizziness/staggering but my doctor and I think this is an incorrect diagnosis. I had to get sinus surgery in 2018 to relieve my migraines and what was believed to be the cause of my ear issues. Since then, no migraines and vertigo. The VA gave me a diagnosis based on past medical records from 2018 but set the diagnosis for 5/20/21. Is it even worth trying to see an AME?
Additional information: I told the VA doctors how one ear would start ringing loud for a couple of seconds (I do have tinnitus as a former Rotor guy in the army) and kind of throw me off. This information+2018 eustachian tube problem(which is solved) led them to diagnose me Meneires.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I just want to get up in the air and fly again.
