Cirrus Jet

What many folks don't know is that Alan Klapmeier is one of the "good eggs" Spike mentioned below. In fact, if you listen to his appearance on Pilotcast #51, he mentions how, while he'd like new pilots to be learning to fly in their brand-spankin'-new Cirri, he also thinks they should then learn to appreciate a nice grass strip on a sunny Saturday. Alan himself owns a 1950 de Havilland Chipmunk for doing exactly that. :)

Man, I think I'd rather see him show up at Gastons in the Chipmuk rather the jet.

Missa

I would not hold it against him, if he just brought 'em both.

Today on highway 41 southbound past the EAA museum & grounds, I noticed the brand-new Cirrus billboard picturing an SR22 and The-Jet. It's almost directly across from the museum. Says "Exit to Duluth" (which is kinda funny considering you're heading south already) and mentions professional career opportunities, I think giving a web site.
