The translated METAR for KSBM (Sheboygan, WI): "red reindeer nose use prohibited all taxiways"
Just changed to "flying reindeer invof apt"
kETB: "caution heavy Santa sleigh wake"
Ksbm: ILS chimney Z NA WEF naughty children

Who actually enters this text- thought it was automated?

Is the system hacked, or is it simply some Christmas humor from a bored nws or controller somewhere?
 
Looks like the Christmas METARs are showing up at multiple airports across the country. Wonder if the system is hacked!

The system is not hacked, it is FF injecting Christmas cheer into translated METARs. The wording is NOT present in the actual issued METARs, no worries. :)
