Hello,

A while ago, I had some back pain after sleeping on a crappy sofa for a week.

I went to a chiropractor for a little bit, and feel much better.

Now, when I go to get a medical next time, I am not going to try to hide anything, but will this give me any troubles when applying for a new medical?

I'll let the docs give the official word, but likely the someone might just say, "What's a crapppy joint like this doing in a nice guy like you?"

There are those who contend that chiropractic care is not medical care...
Depends on how you define medical care. I don't see how a back manipulation can treat asthma as some chiropractors claim but it may give relief of back pain in some individuals. I know people who swear by it but I suspect they would not go if it was not covered by insurance. There are plenty of treatments in traditional medicine which are ineffective or even harmful. Chiropractic is usually not harmful but can result in the rare stroke due to damage to carotid or vertebral artery during a neck manipulation.
