Hi All,

I'm looking to get my 10 hours of complex training for the commercial...

Any ideas on where to rent? HP would be a definite plus...

Thanks,

Brent

Blue Skies up at 3ck has an Arrow for rent. That will get you your complex. As it is only 200hp it does not qualify for HP. Ask for Jim Fellers as the CFI.

N33815 looks nice @ $ 135 /hr I believe:

In addition to A&M at Clow, check with Lansing. Been a while so I'm not sure what they have any more, but they had a nice selection when I was there a few years ago, including an Arrow IIRC, and a Baron (not what you're looking for right now, I know...)

BTW, you do have to take the checkride in a complex airplane as well (or at least part of the checkride) so if you've been learning in a non-complex, your best bet is probably to find the complex airplane most like the one you've already been flying. EG if you're flying a 172, find a 172RG. 182, 182RG. Warrior or Archer, find an Arrow. Even if it's a bit more expensive, you'll feel comfortable with it faster and probably be able to take your checkride successfully with very close to the minimum of 10 hours complex.

Good luck!
