Chicago Hot Dog Litigation

Vienna Beef is the classic, but really, it's more a question of marketing than anything else. I'm sure that if anyone were to take two different brand dogs and give them the Chicago treatment (mustard, pickle spear, tomato wedges, pickle relish, sport peppers, celery salt, and poppy seed buns) that the differences would seem miniscule at best.
Personally, I go to a local butcher and get natural casing franks.
 
The Red Hot Chicago dogs do taste pretty much the same as Vienna. I think Vienna has a case, especially with Red Hot's "original since 18xxx" claim.
