Checkride Passed

I actually passed my checkride! We had to reschedule due to bad weather on Tues and when I finished my oral I didn't know if we would be able to fly in the weather today. Luckily we were able to sip under the clouds and get it done. Nothing like trying to nail landings with 10K gust 15 winds. I am now enjoying a nice glass of Wild Turkey and a nap!

Also, a plane went down in GVL just five miles from where I was testing. I was planning on doing my landings there but the DPE diverted me to Winder instead. I don't know what happened (DPE thinks wind shear) but it scared the hell out of my wife and parents.
