Checkride Passed!

Today, I finally passed my sport pilot checkride and am now a licensed sport pilot!

I found a DPE who flew in a C152 from Salisbury, MD up to the Philly area the day before to do my checkride.

I finally got it done!

I still took my Sport checkride in my flight school's Sling LSA. The DPE I used is also an aviation professor at an aviation university. Looks like he borrowed one of the university's C152 to travel to and from PA for my checkride.

I am closing in on 51 years of “going to get it done”.
All that’s left is 3 hours of IFR training. Have 200 plus hours in my C172 of solo flight.
June is target month for practical exam.
