Holy crap...I thought the F-22 was a display of force, but an AC-130...don't try to walk across the barrier either!
I think it wouldn't be too hard to maintain visual separation, but I bet the wake turbulence is something to deal with!
I'm sure it's SOP for the fighters to stay some radius away, too.

I wonder about that.I think it wouldn't be too hard to maintain visual separation, but I bet the wake turbulence is something to deal with!
I have seen a lot of shuttle launches and the smoke from the engine exhausts sticks around for a long time. It is usually only disrupted by wind shifts at different altitudes and does not seem to show any wake turbulence effects.
