We had this reminder last year, but...

Check for ticks if you haven't already. I just found one this morning.

the black widow has a red hourglass on the belly. (be careful turning them over!)
If there is a 'missing' insect you want to be sure of....consider fogging/spraying the local environs with appropriate spray

With all respect...I feel we shouldn't use antibiotics unless there is a definite need- bacteria developing antibiotic resistance is the reason.
 
I found two ticks on me at Gastons and one on me after I got home. I hate pulling those bastards off, it just creeps me out.
 
Maybe I should call up some of the cropduster guys in AR and have them fog the area with malathion on Wednesday next year. ;)

Then maybe the fish at the restaurant would have some flavor... *zing*

No worries Felix, the alcohol level in your blood would have driven away any ticks then. I found a tick in the shower of my Gaston's room, maybe yours was similarly equipped?
 
I'm glad I lucked out, I hate those things!

I'm not sure if it works on ticks but I've heard garlic is a natural mosquito repellent. Although I can't say you'd be attractive to sit by.

I've not found any tics... I hope it stays that way. I've checked every place I can see.
 
i did find a pretty awesome spider in the bathroom on saturday. it was like a daddy long legs that had just eaten a huge meal.

I found a spider... or shall I say it found me. It dropped out of the ceiling onto my lap on the bed. I shricked so loudly I was expecting concerned neigbors knocking on the door...

It didn't have a tick, but it had something very sharp that gave me a nice scar. Those bathrooms are dangerous! :)
