Cheapest way to build retract time

Glad you're having fun! Appreciate the update regarding costs, etc...

It's really not that difficult for many.
Hmmm.....my Bonanza has a 94-gal capacity. Any idea how one can get 94 gallons from a filling station 50 miles to the airport?

It may not be "difficult" for someone burning 10 gallons 5 or 6 times a year, but it's not viable for anyone doing any serious amount of flying.

20 gallon baggage plus 20 gallon wingtips?? That's wild. I only have the 10 gallon baggage tank and no wingtips.

I wasn't suggesting if it was viable or not, just providing an answer that it is in fact readily available around the country and can be a solution for some.

Fly it. Yeah, you can't necessarily go to a plain old car gas station, but you can still save money getting cheap fuel.

I can't burn mogas, but a quick flight to BUU when I need gas easily pays for itself. And as you're frequently flying TX-WI, there's a ton of cheap 100LL options along the way - I used LBO and GZL on my most recent TX trip a couple weeks ago, $4.15/gal @ GZL. For mogas between LVJ and ETB, check out K88, LXT, MYJ, TEL, TVK, C66, VTI. Up in this area, 02C and HXF both have it cheaper than you'll find 100LL anywhere.

Yes, you'll spend more than at the local gas station, but you won't need to buy an expensive rig to haul fuel around either. $1/gal difference means hundreds of hours of flying for that to pay for itself.

I use HXF every time when I'm in Wisconsin (except for buying from KUNU when I go to the WiscAv A&P).

For the KETB-T41 run I either do a one-stop at KMNF or 2-stop at UUV & CDH. Like you said, there are lots of good options. In theory the Bo will make that trip nonstop; in reality without a massive tailwind it cuts it closer than I like.
