Cheap flyer or ?

Rotax 503 mounted upside down, single ignition system.

Better leave those engines to those who really know what they are doing and have exceptional dead stick landing skills.

I've flown 100s of hours in the Rans S-12 with a Rotax 912. Exceptional engine with a TBO of 2,000 hours, and an exceptional UL.

It is a C3 with the original Aeronca produced motor...
It has to be safer than a weedhopper w/ the single cylinder/single carb/single ignition rotax 277 with a really lousy gearbox drive system that I survived flying for a summer.:mad2:

I'd only fly the Airknocker on days that end in "Y"!:goofy:
