My son would like to knock out his instrument rating in the Boulder/Denver area and is having problems scheduling an instructor. He gets one or two appointments a week and often they get canceled if the instructor gets something more interesting on his schedule such as a charter. He's met all of his minimums except for the dual requirements. Does anyone have anyone they can recommend that would help him accomplish this on an expedited type schedule?
 
I talked to the guys at Longmont a week ago and they sounded like they could accommodate. Much more receptive to a new student than the attitude I got at couple places at BJC. Erie was bringing more resources online but they seemed to be moving at their usual pace. As your son has discovered, training around Denver is a little tight right now.
 
Where in Denver area? KFNL has a couple of decent flight schools
 
One of our club CFIs teaches at Boulder part time. If interested, I can check with him to see if he has openings. I know he just finished up 2 students recently.
