Hi everyone,
Fairly new CFI here with stupid (probably) question...
I've instructed 11 students so far. The previous 10 all passed their practical tests...unfortunately, #11 just failed one area of op. on his instrument ride. I know what we need to do flying wise, but I'm confused about the whole endorsement/IACRA business.
After I fly with him and get him up to speed does he have to complete IACRA from scratch all over again (now stating that he has failed a test)? I assume so because his application is no longer in there. Additionally, do I give him the same endorsements as before (61.39 & 61.65).
I've read 61.43(f)(3)&(4) and this is how I am interpreting it but guidance from the more experienced CFIs is appreciated.
Thanks!
