Mach.12
Pre-Flight
Its a great part time gig on Fort Leavenworth (KFLV) at the civilian FBO (NOT the flying club). The details are:
About 10-15 hours of flying per month but if you bring in students, you can easily get more.
$30 per hour ground and flight.
Flying a 1964 PA-28-180 w/ 430w. Immaculately restored. Owner and A&P fly it regularly.
Students are working adults who are usually military or retired military. Will not knee jerk you and have good judgement.
Students are usually walk in, but if you want more all you have to do is put flyers on the bulletin boards at the Staff college on post (1500 Army Majors and dozens of mil aviators for transition). I have turned five potentials down in my 18 months here.
FBO is a contract for the City of Leavenworth. Owner is a great guy who is very easy to work with.
Tailwheel and multi training available on site.
Send a message if interested.
Thanks
