Cessna Unscheduled Landing in MT

Had an unscheduled landing on the interstate running through town last week after running out of fuel, apparently he landed on the interstate and taxied up the offramp into the parking lot of our farm and fleet store. Then after getting fuel the police escorted him back down the interstate about four miles, took the offramp, then the four mile service road that leads to the airport where he could make his escape.

Landings are supposed to be scheduled? Who knew...

Hmmm. I think Montana and Alaska are the two states that allow road landings (and takeoffs.)
