Hey all. I'm trying to source a plunger part # 0756010-11 for the gascolator in my Cessna R182. This plunger is used in most single engine Cessna's. McFarlane has all parts and kits for this gascolator but no plunger and will not have any available till mid October. Any ideas where to source one.
Thanks!

Textron has 5 0756010-11 in stock currently @ 295.10. The McFarlane part MC0756010-11 does appear to be backordered from all the usual vendors. There are a couple listed overseas on controller.

Did you call McFarlane or are you going off of the estimated availability on their website?
I needed a couple upgraded McFarlane flap tracks recently by a certain date. The website kept pushing out the availability date. The folks at the McFarlane booth at Oshkosh were surprised of the backorder on the website since they sell a lot of flap tracks. I went ahead and placed the order with them and the parts shipped within 3 days.....so maybe call them and see if they can tell you how firm the estimated date is.
BTW, I emailed their salespeople with the same question weeks before Oshkosh and they didn't seem like they put much effort looking into it.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I checked with McFarlane. I was told the material for the plunger was rejected and they are waiting for the correct product. Pushing the date back.
