I was going to purchase this for my place - but having a hard time penciling into into the layout of my 600sf downtown apartment. Plus - I don't really need two. Thought someone here might be interested in upgrading their Saitek yoke and rudders....

Hehe. Motion sickness "simulator?" I really doubt that's simulated.....

Ooh, SGI and VME control systems. Really up to date, there.

How about a flight motion simulator equity club? Sell shares.

Funny "simulator centrifuge story"...

Before going to intermediate/advanced jet training Navy / Marine students usually have to go to a centrifuge.

When I went there were two female flight docs going through it as well. All the pilots flew a profile that culminated in a 7.5g pull for 15 seconds while checking six with no use of the "simulator" function.

The flight docs got offered the chance to do the simulator part where all you had to do was keep a target in the crosshair on a monitor in front of you, the G varied on how hard you pulled on the stick.

What does the doc do? Not understand the instructions and plants the stick in her lap... 8g for 30 seconds straight. G in the fuge hurts 10x as much as in a jet.

Everyone watching went from hoping she'd G-LOC to having instant respect.

About 20 years ago, I was a test subject for some motion sickness research. An IV cannula hooked to my arm that took samples every 30 seconds while they spun me in the centrifuge until I puked  .
