I'm off to celebrate, now.

But of course there's a feast! It's first evening of the Jewish New Year! How convenient the two coincided. My Muslim neighbors brought me wonderful homemade pastries this afternoon. I took them a dozen roses for the first evening meal of Ramadan.

The feast for Ramadan is a feast of pork and hot dog, right?

I'll be partaking!

I had the classic chicken soup, brisket & roasted potatoes. My Muslim neighbors are mostly vegetarian (dad had heart attack) these days, hence the roses rather than bringing food.
