hi. I receive email notifications of new threads and replies to threads to which I have subscribed. up till today that has worked flawlessly. today, instead of the link in the emails being formatted this way:

it's now comes formatted this way:
http://cavu.pilotsofamerica.com/forum/showthread.php?t=90546

the difference being the 'cavu' preceding the pilotsofamerica.com...

when I click on the new formatted link I get an error...This page can’t be displayed. the new formatted link does not work on any of my 3 pc's or my apple smart phone or tablet. is this problem on my end or at the POA end?

cavu is the name of the cloud instance, IIRC. I bet there is a test function that was written to use a custom DNS entry that is not public (i.e., you or I cannot use it) that was missed after rollout.

@jason can fix that a couple of ways... just tagging him so he sees it. (It's leaking the cavu hostname in email, Jason, instead of rewriting to "www"...)

Yep. That's the old server still sitting there running. It's not accessible to anybody but us. Thanks for pointing it out. I'll shut down email on it.

I forgot. I shut that server down last night (after imaging it). When did you receive that email, @rk911 ?

at 10am cst on the 25th. I received four separate e-mails containing lists of new and updated threads from each of the forums i was/am watching.
