Never should have put that up on the wall screen in OPS

Flights will be diverted to ONT or SFO while keyboards and screens are cleaned. Sorry for any inconvenience..............

OK - lots of fun to watch, but now some legitimate questions:

The hand signals and what they signify:

1) Shaking the fingers/hand overhead?
2) Pointing to the different "stations" - probably making a final clearance check?
3) Pointing to the deck?
4) Pointing downrange - is he the one giving the "shoot" signal?

There may be some others that I missed.

1) signal to run up engines to full power
2) getting thumbs up from checkers or "green shirts."
3) touching deck and pointing to the bow is naval tradition. Seen some jump then touch deck and point downrange
4) signals to the actual shooter in the deck octagon to press a button and fire the catapult

Double Ugly Legacy Hornets, not flipping right, I have the data to prove it.

Just sayin . . .
