Room On The Broom

Maybe i've been reading too much in PHAK and AFHB. Is it just me, or is this kid's short video about a witch teaching kids about weight and balance problems(as she adds friends to the broom it gets harder and harder to take off), vfr into IMC(she flies into a cloud and can't see), and Terrain avoidance(she nearly hits a mountain since she is so overloaded).

If you have kids and amzn prime(its free), give this one a look and tell me if I'm just afflicted with aviation brain. The animation and backgrounds are very well done.

Nice, I've seen it twice now and never picked up on that. They've been playing it every couple days now on the Sprout channel too.

Is the dragon that tries to stop the witch from flying a metaphor for the FAA? :D
 
Is this a roundtable on her performance? ;)

I thought she should have considered turning around at a sharp angle instead of just pulling up when the cliff wall appeared in front of her out of the IMC.

I admit I did feel she was a goner with this decision; I thought she might stall the broom, or not be able to clear the cliff.

I'm not going to give away the ending, but her landing gear makes contact with the earth.
