On a recent trip to the EAA Museum they had part of this documentary playing at an exhibit. After the visit I tracked down the whole documentary, it's called Carnaúba: A Son's Memoir.

This film touched me in so many ways, from thinking back about my relationship with my father, thinking about my relationship with my children to the freedom we get with flight. the craftsmanship put into building his father's airplane is amazing. Lastly I can't stop daydreaming about flying something that has a radial engine and lands on water!

If you have an hour I highly suggest you watch it.
