CARES emails

[murphey]

I keep getting emails telling me the CARES account will be deactivated. Whazzat?
CARES = Civil Aviation Registry Electronic Services

Anyone know what's going on? Why do I even have a CARES account to be deactivated?

When I log in, it informs me I have no aircraft registered. But when I go to the FAA N number site, yep, there's the cherokee.

I've gotten a few of these lately, too. I login and see my N number, and then a week later get the same email.

I think they've got a notification bug. It mentions something about combining my login.gov, or whatever, credentials which I've already done, too.
