Canadian Snowbirds to take on DC

The Canadian Snowbird demonstration team is doing a flyover of the National Mall on Tuesday and then will be on display on the ramp at the National Air and Space Museum Stephen F. Udvar-Hazy center at Dulles Airport.

Margy has been working for the past month with Captain Regan "Sticky" Wickett and Captain Blake "Naughty" McNaught setting this up (I still laugh when I hear those call signs).

I like the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds for the power of their performances, but for sheer beauty and precision, the Snowbirds entertained me the most.

I agree. They already infiltrated those French Canadians into Louisiana years ago. I mean they even have Cajun on POA!

Anyhow, I'll be up on the roof of Daily garage #1 today around noon with my camera and scanner. I'll be at Hazy tomorrow for the ramp open house (Margy probably is going to coopt me into setting up the PA system).
