I'm researching the history of a 1943 PT-26 Cornell.

Based on some previous research, we believe the aircraft was delivered to No. 4 Training Command at Calgary, Alberta, in 1943. I'd like to gather more details about the aircraft's assignment history and any records.

Some web research didn't reveal many entry points to Canadian Air Forces records, but I made some good post-war progress via the FAA. Would anyone have a suggestion on a starting place to request any records Canada might have?

Thanks in advance.
Paul

There is no "Calgary, Ontario".
Calgary is in the Province of Alberta, about 1000 miles west of the Ontario border.

The Cornell was probably part of the WW2 Commonwealth Air Training Plan.
There is a CATP museum in Brandon, Manitoba that you might contact.
PM me and I will send you the email of the Calgary Chapter of the Canadian Aviation Historical Society. They might be able to help with locating additional research resources.

Yikes, thanks for the correction, I've edited the original. Should have checked. Will PM you.
